Post Placement Guidelines

To comply with city ordinances and neighborhood regulations, real estate signs must be placed on the homeowner's private property — not in the public easement area.

The area between the sidewalk and curb — often landscaped and marked in the image below — is considered a public easement. While it may appear to be part of the yard, this land is legally designated for utilities and public use.

It is not legal to place real estate signs in this easement area.

At Champs Post Installation, we will place the post wherever you instruct us to — but you, as the customer, are solely responsible for that placement.

Please ensure the location you specify complies with local regulations. You may face HOA violations, city fines, or removal of the post if placed improperly.

For the best outcome, always confirm placement instructions with the homeowner and avoid directing us to install posts in the easement area.
